CARLSBAD — Ken Kosta can look out over the crowded aisles and bins of his Spin Records store and see thousands of items: CDs, vinyl albums, music posters, DVDs, T-shirts and even cassette and VHS tapes.
Nowhere, however, is there a crystal ball. So when the longtime music-store owner is asked what the future holds, he has to guess. “I wish I knew,” says Kosta, 52. “I honestly don’t know.”
